CONCERT “Harmonies of the Homeland: La Speranza” at Czech Center Museum Houston

About this event

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2026 | 6:30–8 PM: Czech Center Museum Houston hosts an evening of exquisite chamber music as La Speranza performs works by two celebrated Czech Classical‑era composers, Pavel Vranický and Antonín Rosetti. Known for their expressive artistry and historically informed performance style, La Speranza brings these luminous compositions to life with warmth, clarity, and elegance.

This special concert is presented in memory of CCMH co‑founder Effie Rosene, whose vision and dedication helped shape the museum’s mission of preserving and celebrating Czech and Slovak heritage. The program honors her love of culture, music, and community through a performance that reflects the beauty and spirit she championed.

Guests will enjoy an intimate evening of classical music in the museum’s galleries, surrounded by art and history that echo the legacy of Effie Rosene and the rich musical traditions of Czech composers.

We invite you to join us for this meaningful celebration of music, memory, and heritage.
