CYCLE Houston Annual Bike Build

About this event

CYCLE: Changing Young Children's Lives through Education is a children’s charity dedicated to improving 2nd-grade literacy at Title One schools in the Greater Houston area. We do this through our Earn-A-Bike Program, which engages educators, families, and students to set literacy and behavioral goals. When students achieve those goals, they receive a reward: a brand-new bicycle and helmet.

CYCLE Houston's Annual Bike Build is Houston's largest bike build event, where volunteers assemble new bicycles for distribution to students who have earned them through our literacy initiative. Our volunteers are building bikes and better futures for Houston-area 2nd-graders.

From Conroe to Texas City, Spring to Fort Bend, Alief to Clear Creek, and ISD's, including Houston ISD, in between, you can make a difference by volunteering with CYCLE at this event. Multiple shifts are available to serve and make a positive impact. Find out more at www.cyclehouston.org.
