Here's your local news at a glance for Tuesday, the 11th of November.
Good morning, League City.
🏘️ Community
League City is partnering with Interfaith Caring Ministries to host its annual Community Toy Drive, with drop-off boxes at Helen Hall Library, Hometown Heroes Park, City Hall, and the Civic Center and extra donations accepted at League Park on November 29 at 6 p.m.—to collect new, unwrapped toys for children aged 0-12 through December 4. Residents are also encouraged to support League City Animal Care by donating needed pet items and to contribute cash or check donations and Target gift cards to the Blue Santa Program, which lets children shop with a local officer or firefighter.
Individual donors and Bank of America donated over $50,000 this past weekend to Meals and Wheels (formerly known as Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston) to cover a funding shortfall.
