Daring Greatly arrives in Houston, Texas for a Sunday night at Shoeshine Charley’s Big Top Lounge, the intimate sister room to The Continental Club in the heart of Houston’s Mid-Main music district.
The Big Top has its own wonderfully strange history, with vintage circus artwork uncovered on the walls of the building helping inspire the room that exists today. It has since become a neighborhood live-music spot with a character all its own.
Daring Greatly will bring a set spanning more than a decade of original music, including recent singles “August Nights” and “Nowhere to Run,” songs from the Let It Ride EP, and music from throughout the band’s catalog.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the show. Doors open at 7:00 PM with music beginning at 8:00 PM. Guests must be 21+ unless accompanied by a parent.
About Daring Greatly
Daring Greatly is a Canadian-American five-piece blending ’70s-rooted songwriting, three-part blood harmony and road-tested rock n’ roll with a modern edge.
Originally formed in Calgary by brothers Patrick and Liam Croome alongside longtime friend Brayden Tario, the band eventually made Southern California home. Today, the three Canadians are joined by Jeff Starkey on electric guitar and Brendan Cutrer on bass.
More than 1,000 performances later, Daring Greatly has built its audience city by city across Canada and the United States while remaining completely independent. Along the way, the band has earned multiple San Diego Music Award wins and nominations and shared stages with Bon Jovi, The Doobie Brothers, Midland, Young the Giant, Lainey Wilson, Plain White T’s and more.
At the center are the songs and voices. Patrick and Liam’s natural blood harmony, joined by Brayden’s third voice, sits above drums and bass, piano and organ, acoustic and electric guitar, with live arrangements often given room to stretch into solos and spontaneous jams.
Recent releases “Nowhere to Run” and “August Nights” continue the band’s newest chapter following the 2025 Let It Ride EP.
