PERFORMANCE “Convergence Research” at UH Louise J. Moran Fine Arts Courtyard

About this event

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2026 | 6–7:30 PM: What happens when artists from different disciplines come together to imagine something new? Presented at the Louise J. Moran Fine Arts Courtyard on the University of Houston campus, this edition of Convergence Research brings artists and writers together to experiment and take creative risks.

Audiences might encounter a performance, immersive reading, interactive artwork, workshop, lecture, or something that defies easy categorization. No two editions are alike; each offers a glimpse into creative work in motion and what can emerge when disciplines, ideas, and artists converge.

Convergence Research is administered and facilitated by the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts, supporting students and faculty from the McGovern College of the Arts as they explore connections and collaborate across disciplines.
