Halloween at the Third Ward Farmers Market + Family Costume Contest

About this event

Bring the whole family to the grand opening of the Third Ward Farmers Market, a new market bringing fresh, Texas-grown food to our neighborhood.

Shop direct from the farmers and ranchers who grow your food, including Hawkins Cattle Company, Ivy Leaf Farms and The Family Froot. Grab a bite from local food trucks, catch a live cooking demonstration, pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and dress up for the family costume contest.

Founded by Third Ward based Rooted Futures, the market gives Third Ward families a place to buy fresh food close to home and gives local growers a place to sell directly to their neighbors.

After opening day, the market returns on the first and third weekends of every month, starting Nov. 21.
