Doc's Presents: Bobby Rush

About this event

Bobby Rush has three Grammys, a Blues Hall of Fame plaque, and a scene with Eddie Murphy in Dolemite Is My Name. He wrote Chicken Heads in 1971, and decades later Buddy Guy and Christone "Kingfish" Ingram helped him re-record it. His album All My Love For You earned him that third Grammy. He's also in his 90s, and he still leaps into the air mid-song, arms out, and lands without losing the beat.

Our kitchen and bar will be open. Come hungry, the food's as good as the music.

See you at the show!
