Wills for Women

The Association of Women Attorneys (AWA) is excited to announce our upcoming Wills for Women clinic, presented in partnership with NRCDC. This initiative is designed to empower women in our community by helping them protect their assets, secure their legacy, and gain peace of mind.

During this clinic, legal volunteers will assist women with drafting Wills and Transfer on Death Deeds (TODDs). Free drafting and filing services are available for qualifying low-income participants.

Event Details

• In-Person Clinic: Saturday, November 7, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

• Location: HBDI Training Room at Palm Center, 5330 Griggs Road, Houston, TX 77021

• Required Virtual Session: Wednesday, November 4, 2026 (Attendance at this pre-event educational workshop is required prior to the Saturday clinic)

How You Can Help

1. Volunteer Your Time

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to make this event a success:

• Drafters: Help prepare estate planning documents (training will be provided prior to the event).

• Witnesses: Serve as official witnesses during document execution.

• Notaries: Notarize finalized legal documents.

• Client Experience Support: Greet, check in, and guide attendees.
